Consideration of the need for protection against Spam, unless the ISP is providing adequate  coverage, and other security issues with email and internet operation.

Methods of “backing up” data, by Windows Backup as a compression operation combined with external storage, or the modern alternative – with large capacity external hard drives available at reasonable cost – of simply transferring files of any kind to the external drive for safe keeping.
One particular action covered is the “exporting” of the computer’s Address Book to external storage.
