The course covers the following areas:
Screen basics; Data entry into a spreadsheet; Editing and formatting; Using standard toolbars; Calculations, formulas and functions; Saving files; Copying and printing sheets; Recording financial transactions; Constructing a database; Managing sorting and filtering data; Using the drawing toolbar; Creating charts; Other practical uses.
Desired Outcomes:
On completion of the course you should be able to:
- Prepare a spreadsheet, edit and format it

- Apply formulas and functions to a spreadsheet
- Use the standard and drawing toolbars
- Create charts from spreadsheet data
- Set up a database, manage, sort and filter it
