What happens at Club Meetings?

We have perhaps 80 people at a meeting so we gather in the Hall at the front of the building. There is always something interesting to hear about either from SeniorNet Members or a guest speaker.
They inform us on topics to do with technology and how we can take advantage of it. Please refer to the notice in "The Leader" on the second Thursday of the month for details of meetings.

You will also hear about what is coming up in the way of Courses and Interest Group activities.  There will be time for questions - bring them along. Stay afterwards for a cup of tea. Visitors are most welcome - just arrive at the Hall at the front of the building in Pioneer Park, 11 Hastings Street, Nelson.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 17th October, 2018 at 2.00pm.

There will be a very short Special General Meeting, immediately followed by 25th Anniversary Celebrations.

Yes, it has been 25th years since the opening of SeniorNet Nelson’s Learning Centre.

A warm invitation is extended to all members, former members and guests.

We begin at 2pm and are delighted to welcome our very first Chairperson and Life Member Dorothy-Rose Pallesen, who will talk about SeniorNet Nelson’s history.

Our Chairperson, Carl Horn will then speak about what the future may hold in store.

This will be followed by a short performance by the Divine Divas

About the Divine Divas (in their own words)
'We are a group of 5 to 8 women who are all members of the larger Nelson Bays Harmony Chorus. We formed this smaller group to perform some humorous songs with dance moves, accompanied by a ukulele'.

Dorothy-Rose will then cut the cake, and we will have afternoon tea and a chance to catch up with each other.

Do come along – it’s free. As always you may bring any questions or comments to the meeting,
and the opportunity to add your thoughts or contributions.

Come to the Hall at the front of the building - visitors are welcome and meetings are free for them too.
