Overview
A basic course that covers how to create and publish a simple website using Google's site building app, Google Sites. You may want to create a website to display and share family history, write your life's story, document a hobby, pastime, or travel experience.
Prerequisites
You will need to have a Google account. Note if you have a Gmail address then you automatically have a Google account. You will need to know the account password as well. Please bring your laptop or you can use one of the Learning Centre Computers.
Objectives
- To sign into Google Sites and create a new site
- To create web pages and enter content, such as text and images, into same
- To publish a site using various sharing settings
